Andrew Clark (Saxophone, Clarinet and Flute)

Andrew Clark has been one of the Boston area's most in demand freelance saxophonists since he graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 1987. He has performed and/or recorded with the who's who of National and Regional acts, including Gary US Bonds, The Coasters, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, James Montgomery, Peter Wolf, Tom Hamilton and Galactic to name a few. Since 1995, Andrew has written regularly for Saxophone Journal and produced four master class CDs: CD 1 about the Akai Electric Wind Instrument for the January 2006 issue, CD 2 was a Microphone Technology CD for the March 2004 issue, CD 3 was a master class CD with Sax Gordon Beadle for the March 2002 issue and CD 4 was on playing blues and rock and roll saxophone for the Sept 1999 issue and recorded a children's CD for Dorn Publications in 1998. In addition to these Andrew has released two CDs under his name.

Charlie Hunt (Guitar)

Charlie Hunt has been a full time performing and recording musician for over 25 years. A Berklee alum, Charlie is the singer, guitarist and band leader of Search Party, a Boston based 7-piece band that has had a long and distinguished run in New England, performing concerts, clubs and private functions. Charlie wrote, produced and recorded the critically acclaimed CD "Days of Magic", which combines Caribbean rhythms and flavors with American songwriting. He will be releasing a new CD in the fall entitled "If I Dream" which possesses more of a classic and modern rock feel. Charlie has extensive experience singing and playing guitar in a wide range of styles from blues and swing to rock, r&b and reggae. Charlie looks forward to sharing his experience and knowledge with students at Bradford School of Music for many years to come.

John Anthony (Voice, Guitar, Bass & Piano)

John is a native Bostonian and a multi-instrumentalist with over 20 years of performance and teaching experience. He has performed all over New England, as far west as Hawaii and as far south as the West Indies. A vocalist, bassist, guitarist, pianist and songwriter, John has worked in the capacity of a bandleader and as a sideman playing a wide range of music; Rhythm and Blues, Soul, Funk, Reggae, Soca, Calypso, Zouk, Rock and Hip Hop to name a few. He has performed and/or recorded with the likes of The Bogus Quartet, Grapevine Road, SAXATTACK, Entrain, Caribbean Roots, Daisycutter, The Andrew Clark Band, Legitimate Sun, The Biscuit Boys and many others. Nowadays John is the band leader, lead vocalist and bassist for Bad Moon Rising; a Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute act. John brings with him, a great love of music and an excitement about teaching its traditions.

Jim Zaroulis (Piano)

Jim Zaroulis has been a professional pianist and private instructor for almost 20 years. He holds a degree in Music Industry and Performance from the University of Massachusetts/Lowell. Over the years he has studied extensively with classical pianists Anthony Mele, and Juanita Tsu, and spent 4 years under the tutelage of world renowned jazz instructor Charlie Banacos. Jim is currently the leader and keyboard player of Boston City Rhythm, a 7 piece wedding/function band performing all over New England. His other musical ventures have included being a keyboardist/pianist for Joe Piscopo, The Drifters, The Coasters, Ron Stewart (Drummer of The Joe Perry Project), BALKANASIA (an original jazz project blending Eastern European music with jazz improvisations), The Boston Horns Big Band, The Mike Valeras Group, and Som Do Atlantico (Portuguese-American band from Lowell MA that has toured the Azores Islands, Portugal). Born and raised in Tewksbury MA, Jim now calls Beverly MA home.

Joe Cincotta (Drums)

Joe Cincotta has been performing professionally in the Boston area since 1986. He has a Masters in Music Performance from UMASS Lowell. He has studied with Fred Buda – Drum set/Percussion, Alan Dawson – Jazz Drums, Bob Gulotti – Jazz Drums and Jeff Fischer – Timpani. Joe is a busy freelance percussionist and performs with Bellevue Cadillac and the Boston Horns Big Band.

Dayla Stoerzbach (Violin & Viola)

Dayla Stoerzbach earned her Masters in Viola Performance from Boston University where she studied with Michelle LaCourse. A native Texan, she completed her Bachelors in Music Education at Baylor University. Since moving to the Boston area, Dayla has performed with a number of classical groups, including The Boston String Quartet and the Cape Ann Symphony and has recently helped launch The Nocturne String Quartet. Branching out into folk, jazz, and rock, she has recorded and played with several local artists, enjoying studio time with the legendary John Mayer. Dayla is also currently teaching with the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra’s Intensive Community Program, which gives less privileged kids an opportunity to learn music.

John Fugarino (Trumpet)

John Fugarino received his Bachelor of Music from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He then attended the New England Conservatory of Music and earned a Masters in Music Composition. John has performed and taught trumpet in both the classical and jazz idioms. Has performed a wide range of music including Orchestral,Jazz,Rhythm and Blues, Free Form Improvisation and Microtonal Music. Currently John can be seen playing his own jazz compositions and lead trumpet with "The Hornzone" an R&B/ Funk band.John is a music teacher at the Butler Middle School where he teaches in the Midi-Music Lab and directs the school Jazz Ensemble. Trumpet recordings are on the Lyra Ohm label and Zoning Records. Orchestral music recorded by the Radio and Television Orchestra of Bratislava.

Yahuba Garcia (Percussion)

Yahuba is a native of Boston, MA with cultural and family roots in Puerto Rico. His instruments include congas, tenor saxophone, timbales, bongo, assorted latin percussion, trap drums and vocals. Yahuba was born into music and attended the University of Massachusetts and Berklee College of Music. His father and uncle were founding members of the legendary Puerto Rican Nueva Trova pioneers: Haciendo Punto en Otro Son. His mother ran the light show for the band and this became the soil he planted his roots in at a very young age. Yahuba has been performing in one way or another his entire life. Currently, he frequents the stage with many bands and has been teaching private percussion lessons for 5 years. Over the past decade, Yahuba has been visiting schools in New England teaching workshops on Puerto Rican as well as Caribbean music and culture.

Lauren Sprague (Voice, Music Together)

Lauren is a Suma Cum Laude graduate of Boston University School for the Arts, Ms. Sprague has been teaching drama and music to students of all ages for the last 12 years.  She served as the Drama Coach at Tewksbury High from 2003-2008 and currently is the artistic director of the Sprague Performing Arts Collaborative.  In addition, Lauren teaches Music Together (a music class for babies, toddlers and the adults that love them!), she serves as a cantor Holy Family Parish in Concord, MA where she also directs the children's and middle school choirs, and she is the proud mommy of a big five-year-old daughter and a bouncing baby boy.  Lauren has appeared with the Footlight Club, the Palace Theatre of Manchester NH, the Savoyard Light Opera Company, the Lowell Opera Company, Opera New Hampshire, Longwood Opera, The Kairos Vocal Ensemble, The Spectrum Singers, Fiddlehead Theatre Company, South End Playback, Theatre 1, Pocket Full of Tales and JM Productions. Favorite roles include, Jeannie in Hair, Marian in The Music Man, Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, Josephine in H.M.S. Pinafore, Adina in Donizetti's Elixir of Love, Adele in Strauss' Die Fledermaus and Yum Yum in The Hot Mikado.  Film Credits include Margie in Meat Me In Plainville.

Kerri Elimeleck (Voice & Piano)

A recent graduate from Berklee College of Music, Kerri Elimeleck has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Songwriting, as well as several years of teaching under her belt. A voice principle at Berklee, Kerri studied all types of music, from classical to rock to blues, and everything in between. Kerri is currently the lead singer of a Boston-based original band called SevenSpell, a symphonic metal band with a similar sound to Evanescence and Nightwish. Kerri also has extensive music theory training, in both contemporary and classical styles. Before entering Berklee, Kerri was classically trained on piano for six years, focusing on classical and new age. She also plays the ukulele and guitar, often to accompany herself while singing. Kerri also has several teaching gigs, and loves working with students of all ages.

Michael Mersha (Electric Bass & Double Bass)

Mik is a native of Ethiopia who grew up on the North Shore and graduated from the University of Massachussetts. For over 15 years, Mik has performed and toured in and out of the country with a number of different groups whose stlyles range from R&B/Soul to Afro-Cuban Son/Salsa, African, Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop, Rock & Blues. Currently, Mik is buiding a new home-studio, teaching and performing regularly with his band Los Sugar Kings (Roots Afro-Cuban) and as a Bassist/Musical Director for Splash!

Melissa M. Bull (Violin & Piano)

Melissa M. Bull Di Gaetano began her musical studies with the piano at age three and the violin at age five. Her studies have taken her all the way to New England Conservatory and Gordon College where she studied under acclaimed violinist James Buswell. Melissa has performed in such prestigious venues as New York City’s Carnegie Hall, Pittsburgh’s Heinz Hall, New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall, and Boston’s Symphony Hall. In 2007, she spent seven months in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she studied violin with Fernando Hasaj. Melissa enjoys a busy free-lancing career as a violinist, violist, pianist, organist, and vocalist, playing for private functions, performing as a studio musician, and presenting solo recitals and concerts with various chamber ensembles and orchestras. She is a member of the Orchestra of Indian Hill, Lexington Symphony, the Cape Ann Symphony Orchestra, and formerly of the New Bedford Symphony, and is principal violist of Symphony by the Sea. She has appeared as concertmaster of the Quincy Bay Chamber Orchestra and as guest principal violist for the Melrose Symphony and Lexington Symphony. Melissa can be heard as a featured soloist on recordings by Grammy-winner Gordon Chambers and by Tim Janis, with whom she collaborated on a special recording with Ray Charles. She has worked with such distinguished conductors as Keith Lockhart, Lorin Maazel, Kirk Muspratt, Eiji Oue, and Susan Wyner and with such brilliant composers as Luis Bacalov and Yehudi Wyner.

Amanda Wang (Violin & Viola)

Amanda Wang, a violinist and violist, began her musical studies with Christina Scroggins and Shirley Givens at the Peabody Preparatory School in Baltimore. She is a graduate of the prestigious Arts for Talented Youth Program at Peabody, a pre-professional training program for promising young musicians and dancers. Ms. Wang is equally interested in music, science, and technology, having studied Electrical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology ('03) while continuing violin studies under Lynn Chang as an Emerson Music Fellow. She received her Master's Degree in violin performance at the Boston Conservatory in 2007 and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at Boston University with a full CFA scholarship. Ms. Wang received first prize in the 2008 New England International Chamber Music Ensemble Competition and has performed as guest artist at the Killington Music Festival and the Rockport Music Festival. Amanda is an active musician in the Boston, New York, and DC areas, performing at Carnegie's Weill Hall, NEC Jordan Hall, Boston Symphony Hall, and Kennedy Center. In addition to music, Ms. Wang enjoys cooking and working on her 2002 RV Sprinter conversion van. She welcomes new students of all sizes and shapes as well any tips on van conversion.
